Happy Holidays

It's been a while since my last post. We stay busy around here, especially through the holidays. We had a wonderful Christmas and Olivia is starting to understand more about Christmas. I was teaching her about the real meaning of Christmas and we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus a lot. Sometimes she would get a little confused and say "Happy Birthday Christmas!" As I was finishing up the Christmas decorating I had our stockings laying on the desk ready to hang. I walked out of the room and when I came back in she was wearing two of them on her feet! Priceless. She got a Dora tricyle and more toys than we know what do with. On holidays and birthdays we are always reminded of how many people love our children. Her new word is "awful." On Christmas day she had a beatiful dress that Aunt Sissy sent. She comes up to me and says "Mommy, this dress is so awful." Then the next day she woke up with wild hair as she does most mornings. I took her to look at it in the mirror and she says "My hair is so awful." She also loves to get on her pink stool and sing into her Magic Wand (she means microphone). One thing is for sure, whatever this child does in life she's going to be in charge.


Grayson enjoyed his first Christmas. He is almost 4 months old! AHHHH! It is going by way too fast and I just want him to stay my little baby forever. He still does not sleep through the night. I started giving him rice cereal hoping that would keep him full through the night but he still wakes up after only 4 hours. He is also a little spoiled and prefers sleeping next to Mommy rather than in his bassinet. He is currently battling his 2nd ear infection. At last check he weighed 15 1/2 pounds. It is amazing to us how different Grayson is compared to how Olivia was as a baby. She slept through the night at 6 weeks old and she would not sleep in our bed. After his colic and horrible sleeping patterns, Michael has ruled out the possibility of another child for us. I say we'll talk about it again in a few years :). Right now man-to-man defense is working out pretty well.

Exciting things are happening at the PRC. We are beginning construction on the new space. For the last 10 years or so, we have been operating out of 1000 sq ft and over the last few years it has been difficult to walk through due to the clutter. With the new space, we will go from 1000 to 3000 sqaure feet. PRC will go from having 2 counseling rooms, a baby boutique and an office to having 4 counseling rooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 offices and a huge boutique. This will allow us to accomodate our current and future growth. What a blessing! Pictures to come soon...

We haven't had any offers on our house yet but didn't really expect much activity through the holidays. We've found a house that we love but will just have to see what happens. It's all in God's timing, not ours.
