First T-Ball Season

Gray is having a blast playing t-ball this year.  He loves to practice but doesn't quite understand all the rules of the game.  The games are HILARIOUS!  All the kids want to run after the ball and they are constantly picking flowers, missing the ball and letting it run between their legs, wrestling and climbing the fence.  One game Michael was out in the outfield with him and he said it was like running a daycare out there!  He was exhausted after the game.  A lot of our friends from church and playgroups are on the team so it's fun for everyone to get together.

Concentrating on the batter

You can see how long this concentration lasts!

Running after the ball

Water break!

First at bat

Running the bases, he NEVER stops grinning!

Oops, ball between the legs!

Dad had to give him a little outfield chat and tell him to get back with the team.

Everyone after the ball!  I missed the picture but apparently it was Gray's turn to get this ball and he was NOT happy when the other boy got it.  He yelled at the boy "hey, it was my turn!" and the boy pushed him.  Luckily, coach broke it up before it got too serious!

This game he was mad.  He wanted to wear the white jersey not the blue one!

Cole and Gray have become best friends.  They are so sweet together.

Michael is right in his element coaching first base.

At the end of every game they have a team huddle and scream "I'm a man!"
