Our little baby is 3 years old! This past Saturday we celebrated Olivia's birthday and she was royalty for just one day at her Princess Party. She was really into her birthday this year and talked about it a lot before hand. I let her pick out her princess dress and we pampered her like a princess by letting her get a pedicure the day before. Aunt Sissy came in out Thursday night and she will be staying for 10 days. We are so excited to have her here and she was a huge help getting ready for the party.
We made her a royal breakfast with crown shaped pancakes. Olivia's friends showed up dressed up in Princess clothes. They all looked adorable and seemed had a really good time. They came through the castle entrance that Michael made. We played a game called "kiss the prince" which was where the girls put red lipstick on and tried to kiss a picture of Prince Grayson with a blindfold on. The kids spent most of the time playing out on the swing set, so that birthday present was certainly a hit. We had over 40 people at her party and she got a lot of great presents, including a bike and several dresses. I'm especially thankful for the new dresses considering she wears a dress everyday now and has been for several months. She has worn her other dresses so much they they were all becoming faded and worn. She's such a girly girl!
We are still in awe at how fast the time has flown by. So far she has turned out to be a really sweet little girl. She certainly has some first born characteristics. For instance, I was headed into the grocery store last week and she says, "Mommy, do you have your list?"
Now that her birthday is over, its time to start planning Grayson's...
